- We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR) and would NEVER sell or share under any circumstances.
- This website currently DOES NOT USE COOKIES.
- We collect information about you through our forms purely to communicate bookings, services and enquiries.
- We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
- The only information we collect is data you have provided through contact (our web forms, email and phone).
- Booking and client data is held in a database (Acuity) for records.
- We can delete that data on request.
- If you have any questions/comments about privacy, please contact us.
terms of service
booking & payment
- To confirm your booking full payment must be received before or on arrival
- You can pay by bank transfer, direct debit, cash or credit and debit cards
- Payments for weekly lessons are billed monthly
- Pay as you go options are available, please speak to a YMA admin.
Regular Time Slots
To guarantee the same regular time slot lessons must be billed and paid monthly. This will be your slot and no one else will take that slot until the student cancels or changes time. Failure to complete payments may result in losing your lesson slot or class place and lesson time may not be confirmed.
Classes
Full payment must be received on booking at least 24 hours before class or classes start.
Studio Services
Studio services require a deposit which must be paid on booking with full payment due 24 hours in advance of the requested date/time.

Music lessons
- 24 hour Cancellation Policy - If less than 24 hours notice is given or a student does not show up for a confirmed lesson, no refund or catch up lesson will be granted.
- Over 24 hours cancellation notice - The lesson can be arranged for a later date, within 30 days.
- Regular time slots guarantee - Failure to make payments or regular cancellations may result in losing your regular time slot.
Tutor Cancellations
If a tutor has to cancel a lesson at any time you will be notified by text, email or phone and either a catch up lessons or a full refund will be arranged.
Weekly Classes
- Weekly classes are billed monthly - In a 5 week month you will be billed for one extra class.
- We allow one absence per month to be credited to next months classes
- We do not issue refunds or catch up classes
If YMA cancel a class at any time you will be notified by text, email or phone and either an alternative date or a full refund will be arranged within two working days.
Studio Services
- 3 day cancellation - Studio services are non-refundable in under 3 days notice due to loss of potential work (72 hours)
- 7 day cancellation - 50% refundable in under 7 days notice.
- More than 7 days notice - A full refund will be issued.
